A TPO is a list of widgets, each widget provides real-time layout & content to the front-end of your Touch Points (web-site, e-mail, ...).

A TPO is a list of widgets which all play a role in a specific part of your Touch Points (e.g.: e-shop front-end).

For example, your in-site search (SEARCH), product recommendations on the basket page (CROSS-SELL) or the full layout of your landing pages (PRESENT) are all TPOs.

The widgets of the TPOs define a strategy for this widget. The strategy is the logic behind the dynamic content returned in the widget (e.g.: the logic to select the right products for your cross-selling or the right search results ranking).

The widget can be related to any dynamic content like products, blog articles, marketing banners and any other dynamic content. It can also be the dynamic layout of a page which itself is composed of a list of other widgets for its content components.

The logic behind the widget can be configured on many different perspectives (real-time personalization, business or sales rules, marketing alignment, sales performance, etc.) and can be segmented and tested (with A/B testing).
