Would you like to set a facet (i.e.: filtering option) on your search or product listing pages?

Typically, your E-shop will automatically request facets to be displayed(Magento, Shopware, …) will defined which facets should appear. These facets do not necessarily need to be configured in our admin, but could be only configured so first check if you shouldn’t add it in your Ee-shop back-end instead.

Click If not, click on the Add button and a new empty facet row will appear at the top of the list. Then click on the pencil icon on the right of the table row to edit your facetit.

In the context first Context Tab, set at least one Widget (typically ‘search' search' or ‘navigation'navigation' or both) to indicate in on which type of page pages you would like the facet to appear. Then select a field name (this is the product attribute to be used for the facet, it must already existif you can’t find the adequate product attribute, contact your IT for help).

Go in In the Values Tab to , you can define a label for the facet and click on . Check the "force include" checkboxbox, otherwise, the facet will not appear by default. All the The other parameters are optional and affect the display of the facet. The most important ones are the Order (smallest number first, you can set negative values to force a facet on top), the Display Type (should it appear collapsed or already expanded), The Value Order (Alphabetical or , per Counter, …) and Show Counter (if you want to see the counter next to each facet value). When you are finished, click the 'Test' Button and , after the confirmation dialog appears, test your facets wait 5-10 minutes before testing in your stage web-site before publishing.
